Description: PENCIL HARDNESS TESTER 

As per JIS K 5600, ASTM D3363 and ISO 15184, A traditional method to test the resistance of coatings to scratch. Pencils of progressive hardness, hold by a specific carriage are

applied onto the test surface under a force of 750g, at 45 deg. angle. The surface will be variably damaged, in function of the pencil hardness, thus pass / fail or hardness to failure evaluations are possible. Built in spirit level.
