FUME HOOD

Description: Material of Construction Outer : The cabinet is fabricated using G.I. sheets with 120 gsm (grams per sq. m) of zinc deposition of zero spangled nature to aid better powder coating absorption.(dry film).CRCA corrodes and hence should be avoided.

Powder Coating Finish : The G.I. panels are coated with pure epoxy type  powder coating ofminimum thickness (60-80 microns) with electrostatic difference and baked at high temperature(160 ̊C) for glossy aesthetic finish. Epoxy polyester type powder should be avoided for better chemical resistance and wear resistance

Material of Construction Inner: 4 MM thick FRP sheet / PP

Door : Single, vertical sliding, concealed type door, balanced with counter weights, sash weights and wire rope etc.

Top: Granite Black

Powered By : 1HP 1380 RPM TEFC  3 ph Kirloskar / Crompton Motor.

Ducting : Rigid ducting of PP/FRP of 200mm dia. 4mm thick rigid PP/FRP pipe will  be provided with suitable rain- hood.

Baffle : A stable, non – adjustable baffle with a single slot on the back baffle to aid in distributing the flow of air into and through the hood. The baffle shall be spaced out from the backliner and shall be removable  for cleaning.

Impeller : Dynamically balanced FRP Impeller

Baffled By :4 MM thick FRP sheet

Centrifugal Blower :Silent high efficiency remote blower consisting of  continuous rating motorand chemical resistant impeller. The blower is designed to give a face velocity at safe working height as per the international safe velocity norms (ANSI). The exported face velocity at open sash is 100 FPM. The blower body is FRP UV treated high density and chemical (corrosion) resistant and is mounted  on a metallic stand.

Casing : 6MM thick FRP Bisphenol ‘A’ fumerate Resin.

Coupling :Direct

Sash :The sash shall be of glass with vertical rising  frame. The bottom of the sash frameshall have a full length handle. The sash shall be counterbalanced with a weights to prevent titlingand  binding during operation. The glass panel shall be 5mm toughened glass.

Suction Expected :800-1000 cfm
