Description: FLEXTURE TESTING MACHINE 

As per IS:516, BS 1881, ASTM C78. The lower platen has two rollers the distance between which is adjustable for 150 mm x 150 mm x 700 mm beam. The center distance between the rollers is 600mm. while it is 400mm for beams of size 100mm x 100mm x 500mm. The upper platen has also a pair of rollers whose distance is adjustable. It is 200 mm centre to centre,

for 150 mm x 150 mm x 700 mm size beam and 130 mm for 100 mm x 100 mm x 500 mm size beam. A pressure gauge to indicate load is fixed on the load frame. A small pumping unit is attached to the load frame in hand operated model, with 100 mm diameter pressure gauge. Total capacity of the machine is 0 - 100KN x 1KN.

A separate pumping unit housed in a cabinet is supplied with this model. The pressure gauge 0-100 KN x 1 KN, on/off switch and a slow/fast lever to control rate of loading are fitted on the front panel of the pumping unit. Facility for hand operation is also provided.

Micro switch and relay fitted inside the pressure gauge protects the unit from over loading. a second hand is provided in the gauge to record the flexture point.
