RAPID MOISTURE METER

Description: TIC RAPID MOISTURE METER 

A portable test method for the determination of moisture content of soils, sand and fine aggregates. The procedure involves the reaction between water and calcium carbide which when mixed gives off a gas, the amount of gas is directly proportional to the amount of water

present in the sample. The unit consists of a pressure vessel with clamp for sealing cap. Rubber sealing gasket, Pressure gauge 0- 25%, calibrated on the wet weight basis, a Counter poised balance for weighing sample, a Scoop for measuring carbide reagent, a bottle of reagent, one cleaning brush and a set of steel balls for through mixing. Complete in wooden

carrying case with handle.
