Consists of a Loading Frame motorised capacity 50KN giving 30 rates of strain from 0.00048 mm/min to 6 mm/min. Load cell 10KN capacity, Pore Pressure transducer : 20 bars, Displacement sensor having a range of +/- 10 mm, Triaxial cell, As per IS:2720 part XII for 38 mm dia. specimen & 76 mm long. Kit consists of plain perspex disc pair 38 mm dia x 6mm

thick top loading pad, two way split former, & pair of porous stones sheath, membranes, 'O' rings, Lateral pressure assembly, with pressure chamber, pressure gauge, null indicator, copper coil water reservoir and foot pump. Self Compensating pressure apparatus oil-water dead weight type

Loading system comprises of a screw jack with a detachable handle. The lower platen moves up and down. The top bracket is adjustable for vertical clearance and has an adaptor for connecting standard proving rings or load cells. A dial gauge mounting bracket is provided on one of the two pillars, Rate of strain : 0.5, 1.25, and 2.5 mm/min.
