The aggregate crushing value provides a relative measure of the resistance of an aggregate to crushing under gradually applied compressive load. Aggregate crushing value apparatus As per IS:2386(P-IV) consists of a both end open cylinder. Base plate, a plunger with handle and tamping rod.

The apparatus is available in three sizes
